With NiX JAPAN Co., Ltd. at the core, we are an infrastructure engineering service company with 15 domestic and 7 overseas companies. We aim to strengthen social infrastructure through our DX service business, overseas business, and energy business (IPP). We recognize that stock management, disaster prevention and mitigation, and creating a low-carbon society are universal needs for social infrastructure; therefore, we are actively engaged in priority projects in these three areas.
We provide comprehensive support from planning and design to maintenance and management of infrastructure including roads, bridges, and sports facilities etc. We also focus on environmental conservation and disaster recovery assistance to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
We are actively introducing BIM/CIM simulations and virtual experiences, which are fueling a productivity revolution, as well as working on 4D to “visualize” the progress of construction in an easy-to-understand manner.
Bridges are important structures that support the safe and comfortable movement of people, vehicles, railroads, and lifelines. We plan and design bridges that are economical, maintainable, and earthquake resistant and that take into account the local environment and future needs. Bridges are prone to a wide variety of damage and require a plan to extend their service life through periodic inspection and repair. In particular, older bridges require reinforcement of load-bearing capacity and seismic reinforcement based on changes in the traffic environment and lessons learned from earthquakes. We offer long-term safety assurance and seismic reinforcement.
To build a strong and resilient nation, efforts for national resilience and disaster prevention/mitigation are needed. We work to develop and maintain social capital that supports communities from the multifaceted perspectives of people, landscape, environment, and disaster prevention and support the provision of “safe, secure, and comfortable” living spaces for users.
To cope with the aging of infrastructure facilities and increasing maintenance costs, it is necessary to move to preventive maintenance management by quantitatively identifying the progression of deformation and deterioration through inspections. We contribute to the maintenance and renewal of infrastructure facilities while ensuring safety and reducing costs through an integrated series of work processes, including inspection/diagnosis, evaluation, planning/design, and repair.
With the goal of conserving entire river systems, we work to improve seismic resistance and extend the service life of rivers and other infrastructure facilities for flood control and water resource management. In this way, we develop social infrastructure that enables the effective and efficient use of existing infrastructure and contributes to local safety and security. Furthermore, to reap the benefits of river systems, we offer a wide range of services from feasibility studies to planning and design of natural renewable energy to realize a low-carbon society, as well as biodiversity conservation.
We ensure the safety of citizens through maintenance and renewal of water and sewerage facilities, earthquake-proofing of facilities, and inundation countermeasure planning using advanced inundation analysis simulations. Combined with soft measures such as the development of inland water hazard maps and BCPs, we strengthen the city's ability to respond to disasters. Further, to achieve a sustainable supply of water and sewage services on a longer service life, we analyze the business structure, finances, and business environment and propose measures to improve management.
In response to declining population, an aging society with fewer children, global warming, and diversification of people’s values, there is a need for plans to make communities and living spaces safe and comfortable and to revitalize the economies of communities and cities. To create cities and communities that resonate with citizens, we propose plans that suit specific local circumstances, focusing on urban and community planning, transportation planning, facility improvement planning, and disaster prevention planning/environmental planning.
As cities reach maturity, there is a need for new urban development that suits people's lifestyles. We strive every day to make cities beautiful and comfortable, focusing on parks, green spaces, and large-scale developments, and provide plans that meet a wide variety of needs.
By utilizing PPP/PFI for the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of public facilities, etc., we can expect benefits such as creative proposals and services provided by private companies, as well as reductions in total costs. Further, we actively deploy, use, and apply information on technological advances and innovations in surveying instruments to meet the diverse demands of our clients and provide high-quality results.
In order to carry out public works that ensure the safety and security of the community and to create a vibrant and attractive town, we must ask for your cooperation in relocating buildings and other structures by giving us your valuable land. In order to achieve just compensation, we carry out a wide range of diverse tasks, from surveying and calculating land and properties to explaining compensation and surveying buildings before and after construction. As a member of the compensation consultant, we will support the realization of a prosperous society by proposing plans that take into account land acquisition management, while also working to speed up and streamline projects.
We provide a wide range of technical support to client municipalities and companies. We provide expert technical assistance in public and private sector construction projects, including documentation, cost estimating support, quality control, and construction supervision support.
We support business efficiency and cost reduction through the development of cloud services, migration of systems to cloud, operational management, and implementation of data analysis and AI solutions.
Through centralized management, rapid information linkage, and visualization of information of road maintenance and management data, based on a combination of cloud technology and AI technology, we support municipalities as they work toward work system reform and improvement of resident services.
Supporting effective soft countermeasures by raising flood risk awareness among governments and residents and creating advance plans and systems for evacuation and flood prevention
